Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Policy

  5. Good faith statement

  6. Accuracy and authority statement
    Include a statement confirming that the information provided in your notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Liability for Misrepresentation

Please make sure that the information included in your copyright complaint is accurate and complete.

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), a person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorney’s fees.
