Unbelievably tender beef slow-cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce that pairs perfectly with crusty bread or creamy mashed potatoes.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds beef (chuck roast or sirloin)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 5–6 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Sear the beef on all sides in a skillet over medium-high heat (optional).
- Prepare your slow cooker by placing sliced onions at the bottom.
- Add sliced seared beef on top of the onions, sprinkle minced garlic, and drizzle soy sauce over everything.
- Mix in beef broth and add butter cut into smaller pieces.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Slow cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
- Finish by stirring gently and adjusting seasoning before serving with fresh parsley.
Notes
For enhanced flavor, serve over creamy mashed potatoes or rice and pair with crusty bread. Leftovers taste even better the next day!
